The Problem
Every day started with a fresh paper check-in sheet and a pencil. Every client was checked in by hand, attendance was reconciled manually, and trainer payments were tracked on paper. Fully analog — slow, error-prone, and impossible to get real data out of.
The Approach
We built Hifi: a React Native mobile app published to both the Apple App Store and Google Play, plus a live front desk dashboard. Members check in by scanning a QR code on an iPad at the door — check-ins appear instantly on the front desk Sessions view, no manual entry, no paper. The platform also handles payment collection from trainers, closing the loop on operations.
The Outcome
The pad and pencil are gone. Check-ins stream in real time, attendance is automatic and accurate, trainer payments are collected in-app, and the gym finally has live operational data instead of a stack of paper sheets.
